NOTICES, REMINDERS and IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS
Hello, 4-202 families!
Thank you for an amazing year together! Your children did a phenomenal job continuing their education remotely. It wasn't ideal, but we did what we could to stay safe while also continuing to practice in reading, writing, math and social studies. I am very proud of what your children have achieved!
If you are looking for summer practice, please check out the resources listed here.
There are many great tools students can use to keep their skills sharp over the summer! Make sure that students continue to read! That is always my number one recommendation!
While many of these resources have a small fee (and I would truly advocate that the cost is worth it), there are many great resources that are completely free and excellent practice! I will link them below!
Here are some math worksheets. Each subtopic has 5-6 worksheets. If you focus on a skill a week, a page a day, that's lots of great practice!
Here are reading comprehension skill worksheets. Each subtopic has 4 worksheets. If you focus on a skill a week, one activity a day, that is also great practice!
You can also navigate the main site for practice in vocabulary, spelling, and grammar. There are answer keys, too! :)
But, most importantly, keep practice simple, attainable, and minimal. This is an opportunity after a very stressful few months for your children to enjoy being children and relax for the summer.
Keep your eye on local news outlets and the DOE website/social networking pages for information about September!
Have a great summer, everyone! Enjoy a couple of well-deserved months of relaxation!
As always, if you have questions or concerns, please contact me at [email protected] or [email protected]. I'd be happy to help you! :)
